Annual Year End Roundtable Discussion.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide a platform for Governmental Officials (or their Representatives) from the Federal, State and Local levels to give a brief update on accomplishments from 2019 and expectations for 2020. The bulk of theaudience are elected officials from Lorain County. Officials from special districts, school districts, other political subdivisions may also be in attendance.
This venue allows a variety of political jurisdictions who share common concerns and interests to gather information that will be advantageous to their communities. The LCCA provides the platform to the officials in a way that they could not achieve separately. The LCCA also presents the “Mike Whitmore Memorial Award for Vision in Government” at this event. Cel Rivera, Chief of Police for the City of Lorain is this years recipient.
The roundtable discussion will take place on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 9:00-10:30 am, at the Lorain County Administration Building , 226 Middle Ave 4th Floor Meeting Room B, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
Networking is available prior to the meeting starting at 8:30 a.m. with a Continental Breakfast sponsored by Ken Carney, Lorain County Engineer.
