Annual Transportation Day Friday, May 7, 2021
The Annual Lorain County Community Alliance Transportation Day will be held on Friday, May 7 from 8:30 until 11:00 a.m.
This event will be held in person at the Spitzer Center located at the Lorain County Community College and virtual via Zoom this year.
The Spitzer Center at Lorain County Community College has ramped up their safety precautions to make their guests feel at ease during these uneasy times. You may contact them at 440-366-4100 if you have questions or concerns.
Transportation Day is presented by the Lorain County Community Alliance and gives Agencies the opportunity to update Lorain County on impending Transportation Projects.
Agency representatives presenting this year include Lorain County Engineer Ken Carney, addressing Lorain County road plans and 2021 projects via ZOOM; Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency Executive Director, Grace Gallucci, speaking on regional transportation plans; Ohio Department of Transportation District #3 Deputy Director Bob Weaver; Kimberly Conklin, Lorain County Transportation Administrator and Mike Fair, District Construction Administrator will be presenting on state projects for the Lorain County area via ZOOM.
Pre-registration is required before Wednesday, May 5th. If you wish to participate virtually, a link to ZOOM will be provided to you with a confirmation that you have been registered for the event.
